Some things to know about our kittens.
Our kittens start at $800 and may go to their new homes when they are 12 weeks old. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a kitten. From time to time we have retired breeding cats available. They make wonderful pets. If you are interested in a retired adult Maine Coon, please let me know.
Each kitten is vaccinated for Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleukopenia virus (FVRCP). All kittens are vaccinated for FVRCP at 6, 9 and 12 weeks, as well as for rabies at 12 weeks. Rabies is recommended after 4 months, according to your state laws. We do not recommend the Feline Leukemia or FIP vaccines, since neither is necessary for indoor-only cats.
Kittens must be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age, kept indoors, and I highly recommend NO declawing. Our kittens and cats have been trained to use a scratching post and will not scratch furniture if provided with one.
We are especially proud that our breeding stock (as well as most of the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents) are screened annually for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and Hip Dysplasia. Screening via ultrasound for HCM is currently the recommended method to aid in the reduction of this inherited disease.
Angtini Maine Coons cannot guarantee that a cat will never have this condition, but we are dedicated to making every effort to produce the healthiest Maine Coon kittens possible.
